    FLAMENCO PALACE is a meeting place for the finest flamenco, piano music, and gastronomy. The venue itself is among the most beautiful palaces in Spain. It is nestled within Sevilla's historic Old Town, home to three UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Today the capital of Andalusia, and the center of its rich culture, Sevilla was the center of Spain's vast empire at its zenith during the 16th and 17th centuries.

    Sevilla is the home of the flamenco art. During your visit, you will share an inimitable experience wuth the peerless Juan Manuel Fernández Montoya, known as FARRUQUITO. Seated among a group of flamenco artists, whithin their ritual circle, you will be caught up in his brilliant zapateado. His artistic gift and magnetic presence, combined with heart-stirring guitar and songs, will impel you toward catharsis.

     

    Flamenco has long inspired Spanish classical composers. During your visit, you will also experience an intimate performance by the virtuoso pianist, MIE MATSUMURA, as she uniquely interprets this rich musical tradition.

     

    Culinary artistry will round out your immersive Andalusian experience. A sumptuous dinner shall be preprared by the Michelin Star Chef MARCOS NIETO, and his team from the prestigious Sevillian seafood restaurant, CAÑABOTA. With a bit of advance notice, guests having dietary allergies, intolerances, or other restrictions will be accommodated to the extent permitted by menu and market conditions (local catch varies daily, and only the freshest items will be served)

    Farruquito

    Juan Manuel Fernández Montoya, Farruquito, is grandson of the renowned flamenco dancer, Farruco, and son of singer Juan Fernandez Flores, el Moreno, and Rosario Mntoya, la Farruca. Since his debut at age of 5 in the Broadway in New York, he has built upon this grand legacy, and he has distinguished himself internationally as both a performer and choreographer. He is today considered Spain´s famous flamenco artist.

    His style is characterized by its strength, passion and technical virtuosity, which is demonstrated in each of his steps and movements. Farruquito continues to explore new artistic experiences and share his passion for flamenco on stages around the world, leaving a deep mark and perpetuating his family´s tradition in the art of gypsy dance.

    Japanese-born pianist, Mie Matsumura, has established herself as a unique and charismatic pianist. She has won wide aclaim in the Spanish music scene. She is doubly distinguished: bothMie is not only first non-Spanish pianist who has given a recital at the National Auditorio de Madrid of an all-Spanish classical repetoire, but also the first classical musician to appear as the principal artist on the stages of the most prestigious theatres in the flamenco world such as the Lope de Vega theatre in Sevilla, the Villamarta Theatre in Jerez, and the Canal Theatre in Madrid.
